The Beautification Committee’s mission is to preserve the beauty of the Village and its remarkable history and enhance the quality of life in Muttontown.
The overall goal is to preserve our natural and historic resources for future generations. A group of dedicated volunteer residents work together on the committee. They promote public pride by developing and maintaining gardens and landscapes. The volunteer members who comprise this group are committed to working collaboratively with Village officials to fulfill this mission. This committee meets regularly to carry out the following responsibilities:
- Coordinate cleanups of public areas
- Initiate plantings
- Sponsor special events
Current Projects Include:
- Hudson/Zog Gates at the corner of Route 106 and Muttontown Road
- Corner Plantings
