NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Incorporated Village of Muttontown will receive sealed bids for
Sanding and removal of snow from all roads owned and maintained by the Village of Muttontown for the Winter Season
Such sealed bids must be filed with the Incorporated Village of Muttontown, Village Clerk, 1 Raz Tafuro Way, Muttontown, New York 11791, PRIOR TO 11:00 AM, eastern standard time, on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at which time said bids will be publicly opened and read, and the contract awarded as soon thereafter as practicable.
Bids may be mailed or delivered to the Village Clerk, Incorporated Village of Muttontown, 1 Raz Tafuro Way, Muttontown, New York 11791. All bids must be sealed and submitted in a closed envelope. Specifications forms may be obtained at 1 Raz Tafuro Way, Muttontown, NY 11791, Monday through Friday, 9:30am-12:30pm. All bidders must complete all documents contained in the bid package.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier’s check or certified check in the amount of $2,500.00, made payable to the Incorporated Village of Muttontown, as assurance that the bid is made in good faith.
Please be advised, the Incorporated Village of Muttontown reserves the absolute right to reject any and all bids. A bid or proposal submitted by a bidder who is not in full compliance with the provisions of the Village Code of the Incorporated Village of Muttontown at the time of submission will be denied. The Village will not accept bids from, nor award a contract to, any bidder who cannot prove to the satisfaction of the Village that the bidder has sufficient experience and/or is financially able and organized to successfully comply with the requirements set forth herein.
